This 19th-century New England mule chest dresser consists of a hinged top lid compartment over three drawers. We made careful restoration improvements to keep its historic identity while ensuring it’s ready for daily use. Leaving the original leather hinges intact we added new sturdy hinges and a safety chain to stop the lid from falling back. A new coating for long-term durability and wear was also applied.
